Welcome to Stitching Visually
I first learned to needlepoint as a little girl in Mississippi, stitching alongside my grandmother, Mia. Years later, when I picked it back up, I realized how difficult it is to learn without someone there to guide you. Stitch diagrams are overwhelming and difficult to understand, and tutorials moved too quickly.
As a visual learner, I began creating simple, videos and guides that cut out the buzz words and made stitches easier to understand. What started as a way to help myself soon became Stitching Visually.
These guides aren't about teaching the only way to stitch—they're about making needlepoint feel approachable, enjoyable, and inspiring. Whether you're just getting started or adding a new stitch to your repertoire, I hope they give you the confidence to create something beautiful, one stitch at a time.
Happy stitching,
Elsie Ann
